If you choose to start a paid subscription or free trial, we also collect payment card details (card number, expiry date, CVC, and name on card) solely to process your subscription. No tracking cookies, analytics scripts, or third-party data collection tools are used.

2. How We Store Your Data

Profile and session data (name, email, plan tier, trial status, journal entries, goals, and reflection history) is stored locally in your browser's localStorage. Payment card details submitted during checkout are transmitted securely to our payment processor and are never stored on your device or our servers.

3. Subscription & Trial Data

When you start a 7-day free trial or a paid subscription, we store your trial start date and subscription tier locally to manage your access. If your trial expires without cancellation, you will be prompted to choose a paid plan (Plus at £3.99/mo or Elite at £7.49/mo). You may cancel your trial at any time before day 7 via the Plans page to avoid any charge.

4. Payment Processing

Subscription payments are processed securely by our payment provider. We do not store your full card details. By providing your payment information, you authorise us to charge the applicable subscription fee at the end of your trial or on your renewal date. All transactions are encrypted in transit.

5. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used solely to identify your account, personalise your experience, and process subscription billing. It is never sold, shared with third parties for advertising, or used for purposes beyond operating this platform.

6. Data Retention

Your local data persists in your browser until you clear your browser storage or manually delete your account via the app. Logging out ends your session but does not delete your data. Deleting your account removes all locally stored profile and growth data permanently.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes in our features or legal obligations. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
